Weight Bias, Stigma & COVID-19 – CALL TO ACTION

People living with obesity frequently experience weight bias, stigma and discrimination. This is due in part to the lack of understanding of obesity as a chronic disease characterised by adiposity that impairs health not just body size or high body mass index (BMI).
