I am 27 years old, born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria. I went to a French language high school, where I further developed my linguistic skills and my passion for history. Furthermore, I proceeded with my academic education as a Master of Laws in Sofia University and two years of software engineering. Nowadays, I work full time as a Risk Operations Associate. In my position, I have been trusted with multiple projects and been given the opportunity to suggest and work on the development of various improvements related to the business needs of the company. I am also active in patient advocacy, representation, healthcare improvement, consulting, public speaking and currently being the host of a podcast called “Voice of the Youth Podcast”. The goal of this project is to raise awareness of lack of support and understanding of the challenges of adolescents who live with obesity.
Where do you live:
Sofia, Bulgaria
What are some of your interests:
Outside of work and personal development, I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend, family and friends, never missing a workout, traveling, reading, seeing films and staying open to new possibilities and ventures.
What is your personal experience with obesity:
I have been living with obesity throughout my entire life. It’s a never ending battle and just when you think you have defeated the enemy, it comes back to life. In my personal experience, consistency has been proven to be the key to living a healthy life whilst being predisposed to all the negatives that accompany our disease. With all that being said, together we are working on providing better opportunities for the future generation and giving access to treatment and scientifically proven information to more and more people.
