I am an ECPO advocate who wants to raise awareness of the stigma of people living with the chronic relapsing disease of obesity and Break down barriers that we encounter on a daily basis, I also facilitate a Bi weekly zoom group meeting for Obesity UK and offer support that is not widely available for like minded people and can contribute with my lived experiences both prior and afterwards from having bariatric surgery

What are some of your interests:     

I love walking, snooker, boxing and being a support for others who otherwise wouldn’t have it

What is your personal experience with obesity:

Stigma, non acceptance  from society in many ways and not being understood when asking for help prior to surgery
