Tell us a bit about yourself:

I am the Director of Communications for ECPO. Working with my team, we are responsible for bring you all of the information you see about ECPO online.    I currently live with my partner and our loveable, energetic Labrador Jake, who is always causing mischief.

Where do you live:

I live in a small town called Erskine which is about 10 miles outside of Glasgow in Scotland

What are some of your interests:     

Outside of ECPO I have a full time job in compliance which is an area which really interests me. Making sure processes and procedures run smoothly and helping people with problems. Outside of work, you will see me spending all of my spare time with family and friends.

What is your personal experience with obesity:

I have lived with obesity since my teenage years. Going through high school was a tough time for me, not only experiencing bullying from my peers, but also from teachers, the ones you are meant to trust.    In 2014, I embarked on my biggest journey with my weight and I underwent bariatric surgery where I had my gastric band fitted. Where originally I had great success, I have been unfortunate to regain the weight that was lost. I am currently working with my HCP, working towards losing the weight that has been regained.
