Here at ECPO we are a European organisation consisting of volunteers from across 24 countries. Our aim is to support the national associations and collaborate as one strong united voice.
Obesity in Scotland
Obesity levels in Scotland are among the highest of the OECD countries. 67% of adults in Scotland are classed as suffering from overweight and obesity. 30% of children in Scotland are classed as suffering from overweight and obesity. The proportion of children at risk of obesity significantly increased with age, from 11% of those aged 2-6 to 21% of those aged 12-15. These proportions were the same for both boys and girls.

Organisations are available to support people who are living with obesity. The organisations available offer educational events (on site and virtual), Brochures and magazines, support for local self help groups which in turn serve patients.
