Tell us a bit about yourself:

Hi, I’m Diana, I’m Colombian, I’ve been living in Italy for 14 years, I’ve lived with obesity since my childhood, I’m a volunteer in various associations, I like studying, doing manual skills, I’m committed every day to talking about obesity where it’s talked about little, I bring my experience as a patient and I believe very much in what I do.

Where do you live:

I live in Italy in a city called Ferrara

What are some of your interests:     

I like helping people, I volunteer in various associations, I like DIY,

What is your personal experience with obesity:

I have lived with obesity since my childhood, I have suffered bullying for my appearance both at family, school and work, after several treatments for obesity I decided to have bariatric surgery in 2012, Unfortunately obesity was affecting me creating many health and walking problems and thanks to this treatment path I feel better, I have recovered my mobility and I have become healthier.
