The ECPO is a European organisation consisting of national advocates from across 24 countries. Our aim is to support the national associations and collaborate as one strong united voice. Obesity in England

In 2019 29% of adults are classed as living with obesity which is an increase from 26% in 2016. 20% of children in Year 6 as classed as a Patient With Obesity.

Treatment for obesity is usually by referral from your Family Doctor or via private healthcare. Obesity has not yet been recognised as a disease in England.
